Darryl Horn's Multiport Setup
Attached is some pics of my TEP manifold. It only came with a 51 MM
throttlebody, which I plan to upgrade to 60MM if I stay with the stock
manifold. I was using a TEC but have recently switch to a SDS
system.

How is the drivability and power?
*The drivability is good, I feel the SDS system is somewhat more street friendly
to drive than the TEC II. With the boost set at 19lbs it has the tendency to
break the tires loose when stepping into the throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. Just
last week I took my car to the track. Everyone said that the air was poor
because they were running slow. I had much trouble with severe wheel hop
and couldn't get a good launch. My best 60 ft time was 2.19, My best ET &
MPH was 13.62 & 103.68, judging by my MPH the car should go into the 12s if
I get the car to launch. I plan to redo the bushing on my car because with
211,000 miles on them I would think that they are a bit tired.
What other mods are done to the engine?
*I have a TEP Stage 3 engine using Sealed Power rings, Marnel head with mild
port and stock valves, I am using a Schneider 284hyd with mech rockers( I need
to upgrade to a mech grind) 20G 3c turbo, CNM 3 inch exhaust and 2 1/4 inch IC
pipe. Fidanza11lb flywheel with a RPS carbon fiber clutch disc.

Are you planning on another intake?
* I am presently running the same SDS system as Frank has. Frank was very
helpful with guiding me through duplicating what he is using for an engine
management system. I am presently using an MSD 6al box which is wired to the
factory distributor bypassing the factory electronics. The SDS is a fuel only
control.
Frank is using the same make and size injectors as mine, but he has a 60 mm
throttlebody verses my tiny 51. I can run nowhere near as high of a fuel curve
as he is so either a throttlebody upgrade or a completely different intake maybe
in the future????
